Head of Accounts Full-time Job

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Ownership of the day-to-day accounting, administration, and financial reporting of a portfolio of clients.

• Preparation of and review of management accounts.

• Preparing tax computations and submitting income tax returns.

• Preparing and submitting VAT returns and recap statements.

• Preparation and review of regulatory reporting.

• Assisting with day to day bookkeeping and KYC reporting.

• Supervision of the work delegated to junior accountant.

• Liaising with and supporting the external auditors​.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Be fluent in English (written and spoken).

• Very good knowledge of excel and word.

• Analytical with good problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work under own initiative.

• Team player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.

• Self-motivated, mature and looking to develop in an environment which is full of opportunities for growth and career advancement.

Minimum Qualifications Required
Applicants must be in possession of a recognised professional accounting qualification.

Minimum Accounting Experience Required
Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, including the preparation of annual financial statements, and the Malta Tax System.
