Questions jobseekers ask

Do I need an account to apply for a job?
No. You can apply to any vacancy on the site without registering. You fill in the form, attach your CV, and it goes straight to the employer.
What happens to my CV after I apply?
It goes to the employer who posted the vacancy, and it sits in your application record here so they can review it. We delete applications and the CVs attached to them automatically once the retention period has passed after the vacancy closes. You can ask us to delete yours sooner at any time using the "manage my data" link in the footer.
The employer has not replied. Can you chase them?
We are not able to. We pass your application on, but the hiring decision and any communication about it sits entirely with the employer. Not every employer replies to every applicant, which is frustrating but common everywhere.
How do I stop the job alert emails?
Every alert email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click, no sign-in, no confirmation page.
Why do some listings not show a salary?
Some employers choose not to publish one. We encourage them to, because listings with a salary consistently attract more applications, but it is their decision.
