Welder/Fabricator

We are recruiting experienced Welder/Fabricators for short-term international projects in Malta, France and other European locations. This is a fixed-term opportunity for skilled professionals with strong welding and metal fabrication experience. Marine, maritime and shipyard experience is particularly welcome.

What you will be doing

• Carry out welding and metal fabrication work according to project requirements
• Fabricate, assemble and repair metal components and structures
• Perform welding work in shipyard, marine and industrial environments
• Read and work from technical drawings and specifications
• Prepare materials and components for welding and fabrication
• Follow all health and safety procedures on site
• Work effectively with other trades and supervisors

What we are looking for

• Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator
• Valid welding certificates
• Marine or maritime experience preferred
• Experience in shipyards, ship repair, shipbuilding, onboard vessels or similar environments
• Ability to communicate in English
• Willingness to drive a company vehicle if required
• Responsible and professional attitude
• EU citizenship or existing right to work in the EU required

What is on offer

• Fixed-term contract: 2 months
• Salary: €13 net per hour
• Average working hours: 48 hours per week
• Food allowance: €10 per day
• Shared accommodation arranged and fully covered by the company
• Local transport provided in Malta
• Company van provided to and from the worksite in France
• Uniform and PPE provided by the company
• Candidates travelling to Malta must bring their own safety boots
